back to school, back to school, to prove to dad i'm not a fool!

I am back in the grand ole' town of Ruston.  It's been kind of weird.  I'm in a phase right now that Laura calls "Summerstock Blues".  Everything in West Virginia was so fast paced and I was busy all the time, and being back in Ruston.... is just nothing like that.  I'm already looking at my calendar to see when I can go to Alabama to see Zach and Jen and Brittney.... but anyway!

The first few days here sucked big time.  Hurricane Gustav sent some awesome wind and rain for a good three days. Let me tell you how fun it was to move into my apartment. Thank Baby Jesus for Laura and her husband Clay, they helped me move in so I didn't have to make 12 trips to my storage unit.

This quarter, I am taking Biology, Spanish, and Stage Combat.  I love being a senior in a freshman biology class. Way save your general education requirements for your last year of college, Katy! Smart. Real smart.

Things are not all bad though.  The local (and awesome) coffee shop here, The Frothy Monkey, is turning their upstairs space into an internet cafe/performance space. Anyway, for the opening, Cherrie is directing Parallel Lives and I am stage managing that.  It is hysterical.  And I am so thankful that I have rehearsals to go to again or else I would be going INSANE.  But anywho, I have combat at 8 in the morning.

Thats it.
